Muzzley Announces Integration with Insteon

Muzzley is proud to announce its integration with Insteon, creators of home automation and control technology that allows you to control your home from anywhere in the world. Insteon offers more than 200 connected products, bringing all of the things in your home into elegant command.

Muzzley now works with Insteon products in the following categories: wall switches, remotes, keypads, wall outlets, plug-in devices, embedded devices, sensors and LED bulbs. With this partnership, you can control Insteon products and other connected devices from other brands like Nest, Philips Hue and Rachio all from one location and enjoy a seamless synchronization of shared rules.

Muzzley allows your devices to interact and complete tasks they could not do separately, adding a new level of convenience to your home. For instance, you can instruct Insteon sensors to trigger lighting systems or adjust thermostats when you walk into a room. You can even use these connections as an alert, activating lights or alarms if a window is opened in the middle of the night. With Muzzley, you can also link Insteon switches, remotes and modules outside your home, such as GPS trackers and smart car devices. Thanks to the wide array of Insteon devices available and hundreds of compatible devices, you can completely automate your home from one mobile app.

“This integration is more than just a network of devices working together; it’s a marriage of varied brands coming together in a singular platform for true home automation,” said Eduardo Pinheiro, CEO and co-founder of Muzzley. “Pairing Insteon with other devices, regardless of protocol or policy, allows users to handpick every aspect of their smart technology system and test its efficiency with every shared rule.” This announcement focuses on bringing a new set of connections to the dedicated Insteon user, going beyond one brand and expanding to an extensive collection of others.

“Our customers continue to benefit from the growing number of developers using our API and we’re thrilled to add Muzzley to this list”, said Joe Dada, CEO of Insteon. “This integration provides our users with an expanded list of compatible devices that will bring value to customers looking for a comprehensive smart home system.”
